Case Study – Coaches – Newtown Blues GFC

In 2012 Newtown Blues GFC lost their championship semi-final by the slimmest of margins. Heading into that game the team was short two key players and a review of the match suggested that players looked and felt fatigued in the latter stages.

For 2013 season the team utilised the insights offered by the ‘Ready to Perform’ program incorporating the VX Sport monitoring solution. In what culminated in a championship winning season the team had a record low number of injuries meaning that at semi-final and final stage the management team had a full panel to select from.

It was also noteworthy that unlike the 2012 season the team tended to ‘win’ their last fifteen minutes in all championship games. The insights offered through Ready To Perform supplied objective feedback towards establishing the most effective and integrated programs possible.
